Axel Johnson Inc. seeks to identify, acquire and build companies that offer the potential to earn attractive returns on our owners’ capital as well as the opportunity to make a positive contribution to society. All our investments must meet both tests. We look for management teams that share our values and can articulate a compelling vision for their company’s future.
We are currently exploring opportunities to build on our existing platforms in the energy distribution, materials handling, water and medical device industries. We are also evaluating opportunities across a broad range of industries outside our current areas of ownership. Our ideal candidate is a profitable, growing business that has proven itself over time and has the potential to achieve much more through additional investment and continued hard work, whether within its existing lines of activity or in some new direction. The company’s culture is characterized by pride and passion for what it does.
