Mr. Hennelly is actively engaged in the evaluation of potential new investments and also devotes a material portion of his time to assisting Axel Johnson Inc.’s current portfolio companies with strategy development. Before assuming the CFO role, he was Vice President of Corporate Development at Axel Johnson Inc. and previously Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Sprague Energy Corp.
Before joining the group, Mr. Hennelly was on the founding management team of EPIK Communications, a network-based provider of broadband telecom services across the southeastern United States. Prior to EPIK, Mr. Hennelly was a consultant in the New York and Los Angeles offices of the Monitor Group, a global management strategy consulting firm, where he advised clients across a range of industries including energy, telecom, pharmaceuticals, publishing and financial services.
Mr. Hennelly holds an AB from Cornell University and a PhD from Brown University.
